
- I wrote my first novel when I was 15 years old.
- I created my first short film (8 mm) in 1985, which won Best Film Editing at the Youth Film Festival in Iran.
- I graduated in Film Directing from the Faculty of Cinema & Theatre at the University of Art in Tehran, Iran.
- In 1998, I received my Master’s Degree in Cinema from the Faculty of Cinema & Theatre (University of Art -Tehran)
- I have made eleven short films to date.
- I have had two photography exhibitions displaying my work between 1996-98.
- I moved to Montreal, Canada in May 2001.
- In 2001, I created a documentary about a French language learning program for Immigrants, as a project for Universite de Montreal.
- In 2003, I created a Biographical Documentary about a famous Iranian filmmaker and writer named Bahram Beyzaei.
- I completed a Fashion Photography course at Dawson College in Montreal.
- In 2004, I studied video editing using AVID at LaSalle College in Montreal.
- I made two short films as a director, writer & editor. The Shadow & The Peacock
- In 2005, I was the editor of a feature film using AVID.
- Since 2006, I have been the Editor-in-Chief of a weekly art and cultural magazine named :DIDAR
- In 2007, I wrote a feature film script as well as made a short film called The Rooster
- I continue to write new feature film scripts, create new photography portfolios, and write novels.

My favorite books:
"One Hundred Years of Solitude" by Marquez, "Tous les hommes sont mortels" by Simone de Beauvoir and "Blind Owl" as well as works by Sartre, Kafka and Camus.
